GEF hands over UN Accreditation Card to Dr Mahfuzur Rahman

Staff Correspondent: The Global Economist Forum (GEF) yesterday handed over UN Accreditation Card to its newly elected Senior Adviser eminent industrialist and media personality valiant freedom fighter Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman.
Dr. Enayet Karim, the central president of GEF, a consultant member organisaiton of the United Nations under ECOSOC, handed over the UN Accreditation Card to him at a function held in Dhaka as the chief guest.
He also handed over UN Accreditation Card to newly appointed Director of GEF Bangladesh Chapter eminent entrepreneur and Director of ATN Group Mominur Rashid Mamun at the function.
In his introductory speech, Dr. Enayet Karim, who is also president of Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Shilpa Parishad and Editor of the Daily Industry highlighted different activities and future course of action of the organization.
Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, who is also a famous singer, expressed his willingness to work for the betterment of people of the country under the banner of GEF.
Presided over by Hasan Ahmed Kiron, the function was also addressed, among others, by eminent educationist Dr. Anwarul Karim, AKM Mizanur Rahman, FCA, Director of ATN Bangla Mominur Rashid Mamun, former government secretary freedom fighter Nazrul Islam, former MP Kazim Uddin Ahmed and ATN Bangla advisor Tashiq Ahmed
Former president of Dhaka Reporters Unity and Special Correspondent of the Daily Industry Rafiqul Islam Azad moderated the function.
Being appointed Senior Advisor of the Global Economist Forum, Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman will now be able to participate in all sessions, seminars and policy-making meetings of the United Nations and will enjoy VIP status in all the UN member countries.
