4,500 new investors come to stock market

Staff Correspondent: More than 4,500 new investors came to the stock market in November this year. Due to which the Beneficiary Owners (BO) account has increased in the month under discussion. This information is known from Central Depository of Bangladesh Limited (CDBL).
According to the data, the number of BO accounts in the stock market till October 31 was 17 lakh 61 thousand 46. And till November 30, the number of BO accounts stood at 17 lakh 65 thousand 624. It can be seen that 4,578 BO accounts have increased in the month of November.
Earlier, on the last day of last October, men’s BO count was 13 lakh 17 thousand 801. In November, men’s BO increased by 3,398 to 13 lakh 21 thousand 199.
And on the last day of October, the BO account of women investors was 4 lakh 26 thousand 475. In November, the BO accounts of women investors increased by 980 to 4 lakh 27 thousand 455.
The BO account of investors staying in the country increased in November. Through this, the BO account of domestic investors stood at 16 lakh 93 thousand 165 on the last day of November, which was 16 lakh 88 thousand 771 on the last day of October.
In November, the number of overseas investors stood at 55,489. In the month of October, the BO account of foreign investors was 55,505.
In November, the company’s BO account was 16,970. And in the month of October it stood at 16,770.
