Quota reform: Rail communication between Dhaka, rest of the country snapped
Industry Desk: Dhaka’s rail communications with other parts of the country have been suspended as quota protesters put up barricade on the level crossing in Dhaka’s Mohakhali.
According to Ferdous Biswas , Officer-in-Charge of the Dhaka Railway Police Station, the protesters gathered there around 2 pm on Tuesday.
Since then, rail communications with Dhaka have been cut off, causing significant delays and inconveniences for passengers and freight services, he said.
