Foreign national detained with 4 kgs of Cocaine at Chattogram airport
Chattogram Correspondent: Law enforcement agencies arrested a Bahamian national along with 4 kgs of cocaine at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Stelia Santayee. Mohammad Ibrahim, public relations officer of the airport, said the woman landed at the airport on July 13 and she came here to receive her luggage on Tuesday.
Suspecting the abnormal attitude of the woman, the Airport security, APBn and Intelligence team challenged her and seized 3.900 kg of cocaine inside her luggage and arrested her around 10:30 am.
There was no luggage with the woman when she landed at the Chattogram Airport.
