Faizur Rahman new Director General of DGFI

Industry Desk: Director General of Defense Intelligence (DGFI) has been appointed Major General Md. Faizur Rahmanas Director General. He succeeded Major General Hamidul Haque. This information was informed in a circular of the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
In the notification it is also mentioned that Major General Md. Nasim Pervez has been appointed as Commandant MIST and Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud as Director General of Ansar and VDP.
Earlier on August 6, there was a massive reshuffle in the top ranks of the Bangladesh Army. Major General Ziaul Ahsan has been relieved from service. Lieutenant General Md. Saiful Alam’s job has been transferred to the Ministry of External Affairs.

Lieutenant General Md. Mojibur Rahman as GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lt Gen Ahmad Tabrez Shams Chowdhury as Quartermaster General of the Army, Lt Gen Mizanur Rahman Shamim as Chief of Army General Staff, Lt Gen Mohammad Shahinul Haque as Commandant NDC and Major General ASM Ridwanur Rahman as Director General of NTMC. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed this information in a press release.
