Prof Yunus pays tribute to Armed Forces martyrs
Staff Staff Correspondent: hief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Thursday paid tribute to the martyred members of the Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives in the Great War of Independence by placing a wreath at the ShikhaAnirban inside the army headquarters.
Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh Army General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan and Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan welcomed Chief Adviser Prof Yunus when he arrived at ShikhaAnirban.
After laying the wreath, the Chief Adviser signed the visitor’s book kept at ShikhaAnirban with his comments, according to an ISPR media release.

On his arrival at the Armed Forces Division, the Chief Adviser was received by the Principal Staff Officer and Directors General of the Armed Forces Division.
After that the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force paid a courtesy call on the Chief Adviser at his office.
Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on Defense Affairs Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Hafiz was present.
