Gold price rises ever highest Tk 84,301

Staff Correspondent: Due to Acidic gold prices increased in the country’s market, Jewellers have announced to increase the price of gold one more time. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the increased price will come into effect from yesterday.
As per new price, the quantity of a bhari (11.664 grams) of 22-carat gold the price increased by Tk 1953 to Tk 84,301.
Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) MA Hannan Azad was informed in a press release on Saturday.
According to the press release, Along with the price of gold, the minimum wage for buying gold ornaments has also been fixed. It has been said that during the sale of gold ornaments, a minimum wage of 300 Tk per gram (11.66 grams per load) should be charged from the buyers. According to that, the wages of a full gold ornament will be 3 and a half thousand Tk. In this, buyers have to pay at least 87 thousand 801 Tk to buy the best quality or one load of 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold ornaments including wages.
