Staff Correspondent: Education Minister DrDipu Moni said Bangladesh is leading the world in various ways under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
She said this while addressing the unveiling and discussion meeting of the book ‘Bangalir Ashirbad Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina’ at the National Press Club yesterday.
DrDipu Moni said Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina is leading the world in various ways. The path she is following in the path shown by his father (Bangabandhu). Bangladesh is on the right path under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and will reach the right destination inshallah.
“Today is an important day in history,” she said. Various conspiracies were created to prevent Sheikh Hasina from coming to the country on May 7. The party leaders and workers were strictly forbidden to go to receive her. Even the plane that was to arrive was told in writing not to carry Sheikh Hasina. Today is (May 7) Sheikh Hasina’s second homecoming day.
Calling for more research on Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina, the education minister said more research needs to be done on Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina. The more research and books are written about them, the more people at home and abroad will be able to know about them.
Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, was present as special guest on the occasion. National University Vice Chancellor Professor DrMashiur Rahman, Begum Rokeya University Vice Chancellor Hasibur Rahman, and Bangladesh Rabindra University Vice Chancellor Professor Shah Azam Shantanu among others were present.
