Market capitalization decreased by Tk 22,000cr in October

According to the data, in the last month of September, the market capitalization of the main stock exchange the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) was 5 lakh 81 thousand 543 crore 12 lakh 29 thousand taka. According to the data, in the last working day of October, the market capitalization of DSE was 5 lakh 59 thousand 523 crore 63 lakh 72 thousand taka. Within a month, the market capitalization of the DSE has decreased by Tk 22019.48 crore or 3.69 percent.
Meanwhile, all types of DSE indexes declined in September. DSEX was down 326.09 points or 4.46 percent and it stood at 7,000.94 points in October. On the last working day of September, the index was at 7,329.03 points.
On the last working day of September, the Shariah index was at 1,592.09 points, down from 121.60 points or 7.64 percent in in October and it stood at 1,470.49 points.
