On Tuesday, a class of angry officials vandalized Bangabandhu Corner located at the bank’s head office at 40Dilkusha, Dhaka. It is also reported that some officials of the Human Resource Department were beaten up.
After this incident, the bank’s CBA leader Anisur Rahman said that the executives who came after 2017 will not be able to enter the bank. He further said to the angry officials, “Keep calm.” The Islamic bank that has been captured will come back. The MD (Managing Director) has sent me as a representative.
Anisur Rahman said that since 2017, the appointments made through irregularities without examination will be cancelled. At the same time, those whose jobs were illegally terminated after that period, will be reinstated.
