Over 100 detained for lockdown violation

Staff Correspondent: Police yesterday detained more than hundred people for breaking the rules of ongoing strict lockdown in the capital. They were detained from Mirpur, Gabtoli, Technical, Shah Ali, Pallabi and Kafrul.
The law enforcing agency also filed cases against more than fifty vehicles. ASM Mahtab Uddin, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Mirpur zone), said that they detained more than hundred people from different parts of Mirpur for violation of the lockdown. To be noted, the week-long strict lockdown began today across the country to contain the current spread of Coronavirus.
