Staff Correspondent: 2 crore 55 lakhs 4 thousand 300 taka toll has been collected at Padma Bridge in 24 hours, this toll is collected from 12:00 PM on Sunday to 11:59 PM on Monday.
Yesterday morning, the Additional Director of Padma Setu Amirul Haider Chowdhury confirmed the matter in the media and said that 15 thousand 478 vehicles crossed the Padma Bridge through Mawa Toll Plaza.
Besides, 18 thousand 159 vehicles crossed the Padma Bridge through the Jazeera edge and a total of 33 thousand 637 vehicles crossed the two edges of the Padma Bridge.
Amirul Haider Chowdhury also said that this is our report for every 24 hours, in the last 24 hours, a total of 33 thousand 637 vehicles including motorcycles crossed the Padma Bridge. A total of 2 crores 55 lakhs 4 thousand 300 taka toll has been collected.
People have started returning to work after the Eid holiday. In the meantime, government offices and courts have opened. In addition, various private institutions have also opened. As a result, traffic pressure has increased on various highways toward the capital.
