Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia Clinic now in Bangladesh
Less medicine, low cost, effective medical treatment
Diplomatic Correspondent: Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia Clinic has started its journey in Bangladesh aiming at providing low cost but more effective medical treatment services.
Officials of the Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia announced this at a press conference at National Press Club in Dhaka on Sunday.
The organisers said, Qualitas Malaysia Clinic will be Bangladesh’s first holistic healthcare clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology and advanced outpatient special care ranging from chronic illness management to wellness and preventive care.
The Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia Clinic started its journey in Bangladesh by establishing its branch in house-48 in Road-11, Block-F in Banani in Dhaka, they said.
The health care center is providing medical treatment and services among the people since morning 9 am to night 9 pm.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia Clinic Dato Dr. Nurul Amin Bin Mohammad Ishaque and Dr. Shankar Chandra Podder, Country Director of the Clinic, among others, were present at the press conference.
Dato Dr. Nurul Amin Bin Mohammad Ishaque established the Clinic in 1997 by building a network consisting non-government health care providers in Malaysia.
Speaking at the press conference, Dr. Nurul Amin Bin Mohammad Ishaque said, about 70 percent of the patients can be recovered from illness even without medicines or taking very less amount of medicines following advices of the physicians of Qualitas Healthcare.
“We have to know that medicine is one type of poison and it is better to avoid medicine as much as possible.”
He said without getting proper information about the patients many doctors used to prescribe huge medicines and number of tests which can be harmful for the patients.
He suggested using less medicines and applying more advices to make the patients fully recovered.
The Qualitas Healthcare used to follow this system which provides low cost, less harmful and more effective medical services, he added.
NurunNahar, a Brac official who has taken medical treatment from Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia clinic shared her experience in the press conference.
NurunNahar said, “After getting serious sick I have visited several senior specialist physicians and took huge medicines in Bangladesh. I got slight bit recovered but within days further fell in sick.”
Finally, she said, got medical treatment from Qualitas Healthcare Malaysia Clinic and get fully recovered by taking less medicines and following advices of their doctors.
