Registration of vaccine for students begins

Staff Correspondent: The online registration process for Covid-19 vaccination of public university students has begun.
In a press release, University Grants Commission (UGC) confirmed the matter yesterday.
The names of those residential students were sent to MIS DGHS from universities, they will be able to register their names.
At present, there are 220 residential halls in 46 public universities across the country and the number of students is about one lakh 30 thousand. But, a good number of students don’t have NID cards due to their age limitations. As a result, these students are facing trouble to register their names.
Following the issue, UGC public university additional director Md Fazlur Rahman said, to provide vaccine, the NID numbers of students were sent. So, those students have NID only they will get the vaccine. I have no authorization to say anything outside of this.
