Set up ACC offices in Canada, Malaysia Australia: Kazi Firoz
Staff Correspondent: Jatiya Party MP Kazi Firoz Rashid has urged to extend the activities of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) outside the country.
He told the parliament that the ACC should set up offices in Canada, Malaysia and Australia to see how much money is being laundered into those countries. The Jatiya Party MP made the call after taking part in the discussion during the passing of the supplementary budget in the House yesterday. Firoz Rashid mentioned the failure of authorities to arrest PK Halder accused of misappropriating crores of money from different sources through fake documents.
