SSC exam will over in 13-day
Staff Correspondent: This year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are proposed to be completed within 13 days.
The schedule has already been prepared by the Board of Inter-Education. This schedule has been sent to the Ministry of Education. It will be final only when the ministry approves it.
According to the Board of Inter-Education, the SSC and equivalent examinations are proposed to start on September 15 and end the written examination on October 1. The exams will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. Meanwhile, the officials of the board say that according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education,
the schedule has been prepared to reduce the gap and finish the examination in a short time. Now it will be final only if the ministry approves.
Usually, SSC examinations held in early February and HSC in early April. However, this year, these two public exams were postponed twice due to Corona and floods. SSC exams was supposed o start on June 19.
Education Minister Dipu Moni has given instructions to conduct the SSC exam in mid-September and the HSC exam in early November.
In a press conference, Education Minister Dipu Moni said, there is a risk of a major flood in mid-August. There is a threat of flooding in the south. That is why we are going to start the SSC exam in the middle of September instead of August.
The Minister also said that there will be a change in reducing the gap in the examination schedule due to a delay of two months. We will try to take the test as soon as possible. But I will take care that the students do not suffer.
However, the education minister said at that time that the exam will be conducted on the same syllabus as it was supposed to be held on June 19.
