17 injured in fire incident

Staff Correspondent: At least 17 people including members of the law enforcingagencies, fire service personnel, shop owners and employees were injured in the incident of fire in Bangabazar Market of the capital. Five of them have been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and the medicine ward of Dhaka Medical. This fire happened around 6:30 this morning. In their injured condition, they were rescued at Sheikh Hasina Burn and Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s emergency department with some basic treatment.
Five people have been admitted. Fire service worker. Mehdi Hasan (35) is undergoing treatment at the emergency department of Sheikh Hasina National Burn.
Niloy (22), Shaheen (40), Ripon Mia (36), Rubel (32) have been admitted to the new building medicine ward of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. And the remaining 12 people have been released with first aid. They are Shahbag police station sub-inspector (SI) Mohammad Israfil Islam (40) and RAB 2 sub-inspector (SI) Md Zahid (47).
