Bangladesh seeks duty-free access for 213 products in Saudi
Diplomatic Correspondent: Prime Minister’s Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman has urged Saudi Arabia to give duty-free access to some 213 Bangladeshi products to the Saudi Arabian market.
Salman, who is now in Saudi Arabia, made the call at a meeting with Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi on Tuesday.
In the meeting, they discussed the visit of the Saudi commerce minister to Bangladesh Business Summit to be held in Dhaka on March 11-13. The Saudi commerce minister will lead a large delegation comprising government, private and business representatives at the Bangladesh Business Summit.
Saudi Minister Majid said that they give highest importance to the farsighted leadership and bilateral relations of the two countries.
