Bangladesh enriched with 14-ton of gold

Industry Desk : What is the amount of gold reserves of any country in the world? The London-based World Gold Council (WGC) has recently published such information. According to the report of the organization, the United States has the largest gold reserves in the world. The central bank of the country has 8,133.46 tons of gold.
Now the question is what is the position of Bangladesh in the list? It is known that 14 tons of gold is stored in the vault of the Central Bank of Bangladesh. According to this, Bangladesh ranks 66th in the global index of gold reserves.
The list was prepared by the WGC for the period from July to the end of September 2023.
According to the organization, the United States currently has the largest gold reserves in the world. The central bank of the country has 8,133.46 tons of gold. Germany is the second European country. Germany has more than three thousand tons of gold reserves.
Italy is another European country in the third. This country has more than two thousand tons of gold reserves.
After that, France is in the fourth position. This country also has about two thousand tons of gold reserves. Then there are respectively – Russia, China, Switzerland, Japan, India and Netherlands.
Besides, Turkey, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Poland, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Lebanon and Spain respectively.
