Daily Industry holds Pitha Utshab

Staff Correspondent : A Pitha Utshab was held at the office of the Daily Industry in the city on Sunday, with its Editor, Dr. Enayet Karim in the chair.
Managing Director of Pubali Bank, Mohammed Ali, inaugurated the festival as the chief guest. Former Government Secretary Nazrul Islam, Chairman of Khandaker Group Ruhul Amin Khandaker, President of Dhaka Reporters Unity Syed Shukkur Ali Shuvo, Director of Agrani Bank Khandaker Fazle Rashid, Director of Bank Asia Limited Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, and Managing Editor of the Daily Industry Mahfuja Khanam, were present as special guests.
During the function, the speakers praised the initiative for organizing the festival, which celebrates the country’s heritage of trying different types of delicious pitha, especially during the winter season.
They also commended the Daily Industry for advocating in favor of the interests of the country and its people.
The Pitha Utshab commenced at 4:30 pm and continued until 8:30 pm, featuring a total of eight varieties of pitha. Chiefs and representatives from various institutions and organizations attended the function.
