No group in 9th-10th class: Dipu
Staff Correspondent: Education activities will be introduced in the 9th-10th classes in a cluster-based curriculum without any division (science, arts and commerce), said the Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.
The Education Minister told reporters after a meeting at the Secretariat in the capital yesterday.
Education Minister said students would not be segregated on a subject-wise. “From 2023, there will be no science, arts and commerce departments in the 9th-10th class in the outline of the new curriculum. Everyone should read the same subject,” she also said.
Earlier in the day, the Education Minister said at Jatiya Sangsad that all students up to class 10 would strengthen their foundation by studying the same subjects. “There will be opportunities for group or subject-based education from class XI,” she added.
