Rs 300cr allocated for Bangladesh in Indian budget

International Desk: India’s Modi government has announced the budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year. The budget has allocated the same amount for Bangladesh and neighboring countries as before. In this year’s budget, the amount of financial aid for Bangladesh has been increased to Rs 300 crore.
Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the 2022-23 budget in the Indian Parliament on Tuesday. In this budget, Rs 300 crore has been allocated for Bangladesh.
Last year’s budget was first allocated Rs 200 crore for Bangladesh. Later, it was increased to Rs 300 crore.
The Modi government has also allocated Rs 200 crore for Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. 600 crore has been fixed for Myanmar. Bhutan has received the highest allocation in the budget with Rs 2,266 crore. Mauritius will get Rs 900 crore, Nepal will get Rs 650 crore. Rs 250 crore has been allocated for opening an Indian embassy in Africa.
