Sylhet airport getting

Sylhet Correspondent: State Minister for Civil Aviation and TourismM Mahbub Ali yesterday said Sylhet Osmani Airport is becoming international-standard airport as tremendous development works are progressing fast.
The state minister made the remark while talking to reporters afterinspecting the construction works of a new terminal of the air station last morning.
He said that there will be direct flights from Sylhet Osmani International Airport to various destinations around the world and there will be nocompromise to ensure the safety of airports and passengers.
“The present government is also planning to operate flights from Sylhet to New York and Toronto”, he said.
He expressed hope that the construction of the new terminal will becompleted within the shortest possible time.
