National Defense and Armed Forces War Courses 2023 held

Staff Correspondent:The closing ceremony of National Defense Course 2023 and Armed Forces War Course 2023 were held at Sheikh Hasina Complex of Defense Services Command and Staff College yesterday. President Md. Sahabuddinattended the ceremony as the chief guest.

In his speech, the President congratulated all the participants of National Defense Course 2023 and Armed Forces War Course 2023 for successfully completing the course. He expressed his deep satisfaction that the high quality curriculum of NDC includes various important subjects of the state to ensure national security.

President Sahabuddincalled on all the course participants to get united to thwart any conspiracy against the country’s development and democracy by reflecting the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom.

He earnestly requested to strive tirelessly to realize the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Acting Commandant of National Defense College, Air Vice Marshal Md. Kamrul Islam expressed deep gratitude to the President for his presence and for encouraging the National Defense College to excel in security and development studies of Bangladesh.

This year, 85 course members participated in National Defense Course 2023, including 43 from Bangladesh Armed Forces, 13 from Civil Administration and 29 from friendly countries. On the other hand, 56 course members from Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force successfully completed the Armed Forces War Course 2023.
