Nusrat Faria about evaluation of her work in Kolkata

Entertainment Desk: Nusrat Faria, a popular Tollywood actress, has evaluated her works in Kolkata cinema and shared feelings.
Her starrer a Tollywood film titled ‘Voi’ has recently been released on OTT platform.
In an interview with ‘Ajker Hello’, the actress has discussed about the film, current engagement and current issues.
Q. How are you getting response from fans after release of your movie on OTT for the first time?
Nusrat: Releasing the movie on OTT, I am getting well response. I completed shooting for the film a few years ago. The film, actually, was made to be released on cinema hall. But as per the decision of producer and director, the film has now been released on OTT platform.
Q: How was your experience after playing a role as a school teacher in the film?
Nusrat: It was a good experience. I had to work hard during shooting. I acted as a teacher of special children in the film. The role can be said as a trainer. In the film, actor Ankush Hazra is a swimming teacher. I am teacher of a school where Ankush’s sister is doing job as a teacher. Fans will understand the remaining story after watching the film.
Q. Why are you staying in Dhaka despite release of the film in Kolkata?
Nusrat: As the movie was released on OTT, it is easy to campaign the film through online. I will promote the film in Kolkata after reaching there on February 5.
Q. Why are you going to Kolkata?
Nusrat: I have meeting for a film titled ‘Bibah Ovijan’ as the second phase work of the film was not completed. I will also attend a show and discuss for some new works. I will return Dhaka from Kolkata on February 8.
Q. What about your new film?
Nusrat: Arriving at Bangladesh from Kolkata, I can start shooting of a film ‘Football 71’. Anam Biswas will direct the film. I will go to Bangkok on February 18 for shooting a song of the film ‘Bibah Avijan’. I will also shoot for a song sung by myself there.
Q. You worked both in India and Bangladesh. Did you observe the difference of evaluation about you in the two countries?
Nusrat: Actually, many people ask the question. Many ask whether I faced any trouble in Kolkata. I actually focus on my own work. It is true that fans living in Kolkata love me too much. Otherwise I could not work.
